Most furnaces are near the end of their life at this age, even if they still run.
When repair bills keep stacking up, that money is better spent on a new system.
A serious safety concern that usually means replacement, not repair.
Cold rooms and hot rooms often mean the system is undersized or worn out.
Older furnaces lose efficiency — newer models turn more of your fuel into heat.
Banging, booming or squealing from an older unit is a sign of wear.
Furnace replacement in Concord
A furnace that's too large heats in short, noisy bursts and wears itself out; one that's too small runs nonstop on cold nights. That's why every Arctic Desert estimate starts with an in-home evaluation instead of a price over the phone.
Not sure your furnace is done? Our heating repair team will tell you honestly whether a repair still makes sense.

It depends on the furnace type, efficiency level, the size of your home and any venting, ductwork or electrical changes. Our in-home estimate is free and gives you a written price with no obligation.
Most furnace replacements are completed in one day. If venting changes or ductwork modifications are needed, we'll tell you upfront.
If both are similar in age, replacing them together is often the better value because matched equipment runs more efficiently and you avoid a second installation later. If one is much newer, we can replace only what's needed.
High-efficiency (condensing) furnaces capture more heat from the fuel they burn. They vent with PVC pipe and produce condensate that needs a drain, which we account for in the installation.
Electrical work tied to your new furnace is done by our own team. We'll explain any permit requirements for your installation during the estimate.
