Built in the 2000s? Your system may be due
A large share of Huntersville homes near Birkdale Village, along Gilead Road and around the Lake Norman side of town were built between the late '90s and 2010. Builder-grade HVAC equipment typically lasts 12–18 years, so many of these systems are now failing more often and costing more to run.
Many of these are two-story homes with two separate systems — one for upstairs, one for downstairs. When the upstairs is always hot in July, it's usually an airflow, duct or sizing problem, not just a thermostat setting. We diagnose the whole system before recommending anything.
